Virtual Assistance

Due to the introduction and growing trend for Virtual Assistance, these days it is no longer a luxury to have your own assistant! Virtual Assistance started out as a way for those running a business single handedly or working from home. The idea being that you negotiate the number of hours per week and the kinds of tasks you require with a Virtual Assistant who is well qualified in those particular areas.

Virtual Assistance has now grown out of its original smaller business model into a world wide business that takes place on many different levels. These days becoming a Virtual Assistant is often a purpose driven business decision by those wanting to progree into a business of their own while still doing what they love.

Very often Virtual Assistants are PA's and even executives who have chosen to stay at home to raise their children, or who have become temporarily or permanently housebound for any one of a host of reasons.

A Virtual Assistant can be anyone who finds they have a certain amount of time to allocate to earning extra income. It's not necessary that it be at the higher end of their expertise but it works for all concerned and it's a thriving field of business. Quite often a VA will even be in a different time zone, particularly when you are in the US.

There are also networking organisations for Virtual Assistants, so they are supported by their VA peers and those who have more experience than them. This way they too can grow their business and learn how to serve their clients better and faster.

These are mostly accompllshed, efficient, professional people who in most cases have several clients at one time so they are busy and are always up for the challenge.
Having an assistant you never get to see takes a bit of getting used to, unless you're already working in a very email driven position. Of course there is also the added technology such as Skype and web cameras which allows you to speak face to face in real time should, that be necessary, although most don't bother.

LBD tailors this service in quarterly slices to meet your often changing needs.
You'll be surprised at how little having your own assistant can cost you - all the fun without any of the headaches because it's highly unlikely you will want a VA to take over any of the things you love to do, but that doesn't mean you won't find a VA who loves your least cherished tasks! You will!

A great way to start the thinking process about how you might use a Virtual Assistant in your life is to make a list of all the tasks that if you did not have to do them yourself either daily, weekly, or even monthly, you would have much needed time to do what you love most and are REALLY good at!

Try that little exercise (making a list), then give us a call!

We'd love to discuss your needs and answer any questions you might have about this new service. If LBD can't help you with your list we will definitely point you in the right direction. That's a promise!
